The management of a popular Powys pub are set to stay - despite the much-loved boozer being on the market.
The Unicorn Hotel in Caersws is up for sale but the management of the popular Powys destination have said that they have no plans to leave.
The hotel is on the market after the current owner of the freehold of the property looked to sell it on.
However according to landlord Phil Edwards they will be continuing as normal which will be great news for its loyal customers.
The hotel has a fine reputation locally and is known for its friendly atmosphere and its much loved Sunday roasts which were named among some of the best in Powys by County Times readers.
According to Christie & Co, Hotels, who are handling the sale, the building is a “fabulous opportunity”.

They said: “The Unicorn Hotel presents a fabulous investment opportunity within Mid Wales. Being sold as Freehold, the current owner wishes to retire and release some assets.
“A striking looking building within the heart of Caersws it's of good proportions.
“Sizeable public areas, bar, restaurant and commercial kitchen adorn the ground floor whilst over the first and second floor are seven en-suite letting bedrooms with a two bed owners accommodation.
“There is ample parking to the front and side of the property along with a courtyard style garden to the other.”
Christie & Co, Hotels added that “all fixtures and fittings owned outright by the landlord will be included in the freehold sale, personal belongings will be removed.
“The tenants fixture and fittings and personal belongings will not be included in the freehold sale.
“The accommodation is split across the first and second floors, seven en suite lettings rooms are present, all finished to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings and some, recently refurbished by the tenant.
“A two-bedroom owners accommodation is also based on the first floor.”
The property is on the market with a guide price of £350,000.
