A POWYS man has denied serious charges, including attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and strangling his female victim, and will face trial later this year.
Henry Cambridge, 26, entered not guilty pleas to four charges in total when he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday, February 16.
Cambridge, of Southwards, Presteigne, pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm against his victim on November 28, 2023; as well as attempting to cause GBH and intentionally strangling the same complainant on January 13 this year. He also denied criminal damage on January 13.
All offences allegedly occurred at his home address.
Cambridge appeared at Friday’s hearing via videolink from HMP Berwyn.
He will remain on remand until his trial, which is due to take place at Caernarfon Crown Court on June 12.
