A brand-new spa complex and swimming pool in a village between Llanidloes and Caersws will start to be built at a luxury holiday park this year.

Meadow Springs Country & Leisure Park on the outskirts of Trefeglwys made the exciting announcement earlier this month by sharing plans of how the new facility could look like once completed.

Visitors will soon be able to relax in the new jacuzzi and swimming pool and treat themselves to spending time in the relaxation room with hot stone beds, sauna and steam rooms, ice baths and showers and two treatment rooms.

As well as an outside spa area, the new complex will have a gym and fitness studio for yoga, Pilates and other workouts.

Hundreds of people responded on social media to the news that work will soon begin to build the new facility in Trefeglwys. Many shared that they couldn't wait for it to open.

"This will be a great addition to this wonderful place," said one visitor. Another said: "Fabulous! I’ll be in there all the time."

Meadow Springs was previously a shooting centre that held shooting World Championships, European Championships and hosted Olympic champions.
