Machynlleth’s Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) opened several new exhibitions at once during a special event over the weekend.
On Saturday, February 10, MOMA invited members of the public to the opening of five new exhibits at the museum, displaying the work of artists from a wide range of backgrounds and showcasing work of various styles.
These new displays included, ‘Indian yellow’, a collection of paintings by former vice-president of the Royal Watercolour Society, Simon Pierse, portraying his travels across the North and South of India.
‘Ghost of an Earlier Self’, by Steven Allan Griffiths, sees the Carmarthenshire-born artist explores a fascination with inanimate objects depicted in unique settings.
