Motorists escaped without injuries after a crash that closed a main road between Powys and Aberystwyth for several hours.
Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that there were thankfully no injuries after a crash on Friday evening (February 9) which left a main road in the county closed.
Police confirmed that they were called out to a crash on the A44 at 9pm on Friday evening after tow vehicles collided between Aberystwyth and Llangurig.

The crash caused a large amount of disruption on the road leading it to be closed by police for several hours.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A44 between Aberystwyth and Llangurig at just before 9pm on (Friday) February 9.
"There were no injuries reported.
"The road was closed whilst the vehicles were recovered.
"One lane reopened at about 10.40pm and the road reopened at about 11.30pm.”
