An Airbnb in Powys has been named among the best in the UK for a restful getaway.

With many of us starting to map out travel plans for the year ahead, Airbnb has come up with its top 10 most "wishlisted" reset stays for you to consider. 

Stylist, who published the top 10 list, said: "Incorporating reset days into your routine or attempting to live a more slow life sounds great on paper, but sometimes the busyness of daily life catches up with you and you find yourself in need of a break.

"With many of us starting to make travel plans for the year ahead, the desire for rest and slowness is seeping into these plans, too. 

"Airbnb has seen a near 100% year-on-year rise in searches for ‘off-grid homes’, highlighting a growing trend for those who want to embody a work/life balance and go off-grid for some much-needed rest."

With this in mind Airbnb rounded up its top 10 best reset stays and with hidden tree houses in the Sussex countryside to off-grid cabins tucked away in Scotland, there is something for everyone.

The top 10 most "wishlisted" reset stays in the UK for the perfect restful stay, according to Airbnb and Stylist, are:

  • The Otters Holt cottage, Barn in Powys

The Airbnb is located just one mile outside of Brecon and is completely off-grid.

It has a rating on Airbnb of 4.97 from 252 reviews.
