Around 240 children received their well-earned medals after getting into the Christmas spirit for the Ysgol Gynradd Llanidloes by taking part in a Santa Run to raise money for the school.
Pupils raised more than £2,000 for the Friends of the School on December 19 after completing the one mile run wearing Santa hats and festive jumpers the Friends of the School.
Friends of the School Chair, Alice Earp, said: "It was fantastic how enthusiastic and excited pupils were to take part in our first ever Santa Run.
“It was lovely to see some pupils running extra laps to encourage their friends who were still finishing. A huge well done to all of the pupils."
Ysgol Gynradd Llanidloes headteacher, Elen Chennetier, added: “We are very fortunate to have an energetic, hard-working team of parents who are constantly thinking of different fund-raising events for our school.

While another added: "It's kind to give to our community over Christmas."
