Bricks covered in wrapping paper were thrown through windows at three homes in Newtown on Christmas Day.
Another property in Kerry was also targeted with a brick just before midnight on New Year's Day (Monday, January 1).
"It's horrendous," said one of the victims who did not want to share their name. "It's absolutely horrendous."
"It's got to the point where it's seriously dangerous. It could have killed someone if we were sat near the window.
"It's a crazy situation that someone can go around and get away with this on a regular basis. He will seriously hurt someone or potentially kill somebody. It's absolutely ridiculous.
"It's very worrying, we can't sleep at night."
Now police are urging people to come forward with information that will help with their investigation.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the three incidents in Garth Owen during the early hours of Monday, December 25, are being treated as linked incidents, and that enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at: https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk, or by calling 101.
