A POWYS man is to be sentenced next week after admitting multiple offences in relation to the supply of Class A drugs.
Tristan Lougher, 45, was told at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday, January 5, that he should expect an “inevitable” custodial sentence for his role in the supply of heroin.
Lougher, of Bell Lane, Brecon, previously entered guilty pleas to three charges; they are possessing a controlled drug of Class A; possessing a controlled drug of Class A with intent to supply; and being concerned in supplying Class A drugs.
The offences were committed between March 19 and April 27, 2023.
Lougher is set to be sentenced at Merthyr on Friday, January 12, but he was appearing this week after he admitted at Merthyr Magistrates’ Court on January 4 to breaching the terms of his previous bail.
As part of his bail conditions, Lougher had been told to report daily at a local police station, which he failed to do.
He admitted the breach and on Friday was remanded into custody until next week’s sentencing hearing.
