TRIBUTES have been paid to a talented Powys golfer who died after being found injured on Christmas Eve.
Will Bush, 23, was discovered with injuries at an address in Llandaff, Cardiff, at around 11.30am on Sunday, December 24. He later died.
In a statement, his family said they were “absolutely devastated” by the loss of Will, who was a member of Cradoc Golf Club, in Brecon, and who also played county golf and represented the Brecon and Radnor county first team.
“This week our beloved Will was taken away from us in such a cruel and indescribable way,” read the family statement.

“Will was such a loyal, funny and caring son, brother and boyfriend. We are absolutely devastated and as a family request that our privacy is respected at this difficult time.”
Simon Edwards, of Builth Wells Golf Club and honorary treasurer of the Brecon and Radnor County Golf Union, described Will as a “valued” member of the county team.
“Will Bush was and had been a member of Cradoc Golf Club since a young age; he started playing there as a junior,” said Simon.
“Will was a talented golfer and a valued member of the Brecon and Radnor county first team.
“What a tragic loss of life at just 23-years-of-age. It’s very sad.”
Will’s mum was also reportedly a member at Cradoc.
Following Will’s death, South Wales Police reported that a man appeared in court charged with murder in the wake of the Christmas Eve incident. Police said Will was found at an address in Chapel Street.
Dylan Thomas, 23, from Llandaff, appeared at Cardiff Magistrates Court on the morning of Thursday, December 28, and has been remanded in custody. He had been due to appear at Cardiff Crown Court on January 2 for a further hearing.
