Visitors have been warned that it is "dangerous" to visit Lake Vyrnwy due to the conditions caused by Storm Gerrit.
Water company, Hafren Dyfrdwy who run the famous Powys site have advised the public that conditions at the lake this morning (December 28) were "dangerous".
In a post on social media the company said: "High winds and storm damage mean that Lake Vyrnwy is extremely dangerous to visit today."

The storm has apparently left a serious amount of damage around the popular tourist destination and they are advising that the site be avoided until this can be cleared by staff at the Lake.
They have said that as a result of the weather the two roads around the lake were in poor condition and they recommend "avoiding both roads around the lake and all walking trails until the team has been able to remove hung trees and other debris."
