A family say they are living in a constant state of anxiety after being targeted twice by vandals.
Teresa and Jeff Bielar suffered two attacks over four nights on their home in Newtown earlier this month.
The cost to replace the bay windows that were smashed with a hammer and rock will cost around £16,000 which they can't afford.
"What they’ve done is reprehensible," Teresa said. "We’re close to Christmas and we’re supposed to love one another as you would love yourself. There’s no love in this person. It’s totally evil.
"I’m more angry with the impact it’s had on my husband. He’s beside himself with it. He’s worried where we’re going to get the £16,000."
The couple are appealing for help from the public who may have dashcam or CCTV footage in relation to the attacks.
Teresa and Jeff were with their dog watching television in their lounge at around 9pm on Friday, December 1.
"All of a sudden a hammer came through the window," Teresa said.
"I hobbled down the hall and I see the chap wearing all dark clothes, his hood tight around his face.
"I shout ‘I can see you there’ and he looks back at me and I see his pasty face and he’s got a black electric bicycle. The police told me that they won’t be back, it was a one-off."

Three nights later at around 8.30pm on Monday, December 4, Teresa and Jeff were again in their lounge watching television when a rock "comes flying through".
Since the attacks, Jeff has been left too frightened to go to bed and insists on staying downstairs. The couple have had a special post pox installed by the fire service so that nothing can be poured through.
Teresa said: "As you can imagine we are feeling very vulnerable because they are still out there.
"It’s really unbearable. I can’t believe anybody with a conscious can live with themselves after what they’ve done.
"We’ve got every pane of glass broken but where they’ve boarded for us it gets incredibly cold in here; it was -6 degrees that day. Eight panes of glass all smashed to smithereens."
Teresa added: "Councillor Joy Jones has been absolutely wonderful. She actually came and boarded up one of the windows with her husband personally.
"She has been on the phone to the police commissioner pushing them to do something, and the commissioner did say that there is insufficient patrolling in this area, and they need to put CCTV in this area."
