A dog had to be rescued after getting stuck on a dam in Mid Wales in icy conditions.
The black and white Border Collie was able to be pulled up from the Nant y Moch reservoir dam, near Ponterwyd thanks to the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team after there were concerns for the safety of the dog's owners.
The rescuers were called to help the distressed dog after it went for a walk with its owners on Friday, December 1.
Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "The team were called to a dog that had managed to get themselves stuck at a dam in Nant y Moch.
"The dog was rescued successfully, and we avoided anyone putting themselves in danger.
"This little doggie was very happy to be back with their owners!
"Big thanks to [renewable energy company] Statkraft who helped us get access to the doggie in distress."
