A POWYS man accused of assaulting his ex-partner will face trial next year after denying two charges at the crown court.
Liam Jones-Nicoll, from Newtown, denied two charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm when he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday, December 1.
Jones-Nicoll, 40, denies assault on both July 19 and October 7 this year, in Newtown.
Jones-Nicoll, of Dinas, Newtown, will stand trial at Mold on March 6, 2024. The trial is set to last 2-3 days.
Jones-Nicoll, appearing at Friday’s hearing via videolink from prison, was refused bail by Judge Nicola Saffman. He will likely remain on remand until his trial date.
