Residents will have the chance to get sing Christmas Carols with Charlotte Church at her wellbeing retreat in Powys.
The Dreaming, near Rhayader, which was the former home of designer Laura Ashley, was brought and renovated by the singing superstar into a wellness retreat and this year they are putting on a set of special events for Christmas.
“Christmas is my favourite time of year, and I can’t wait to welcome guests, families, and their little ones to The Dreaming this season to enjoy a magical festive experience with us,” said Charlotte.
The venue will be holding ‘An Enchanted Christmas’ and is inviting guests and families “to explore the magical land meet Father Christmas in the enchanted woodland, gather round the fire for festive stories – and will include joining Charlotte herself for Christmas Carols.

The Enchanted Christmas events will be held on three dates with tickets available for December 19, 20 and 21 with slots for 3pm to 4.30pm, 5pm to 6.30pm and 7pm to 8.30pm.
“We’re super excited for you to explore the land and the house, meet Father Christmas in the Enchanted Woods, share some festive stories around the fire while also enjoying some beautifully prepared drinks and snacks,” said Charlotte.
“As you probably know, I love a bit of singing and I’d love you to come along and join me for some Christmas carolling, spreading joy and holiday cheer to all.”
There will also be offering a Festive High Tea where guests “can enjoy scrumptious delights by a roaring fire and explore the newly renovated house and grounds.
“I’m also looking forward to the Festive High Tea Experience here at The Dreaming, which will run for three days only in December and served around a warm and cosy fire", added Charlotte. “It’s also a chance for you to take a tour of the grounds and see the epic nature that surrounds us.
“We also invite you to explore the house itself to see what we’ve done with Laura Ashley’s former home and how we’ve transformed Rhydoldog House into a very special space where you immediately feel at rest.”
The Festive High Tea will also be held from 11am to 2pm on Tuesday, December 19, Wednesday, December 20 and Thursday, December 21.
“But above all, I'm looking forward to meeting you, your families, and loved ones this Christmas—a season that embodies the spirit of love, joy, community and sharing,” added Charlotte. “Merry Christmas to you all – Nadolig Llawen i chi gyd.”
