A teenage girl has appeared in court charged with attempting to murder another girl in a Powys village.
The girl, who is 14 and cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 20, where she also faced the charge of possessing a bladed article.
The alleged offence happened in the village of Coelbren, in south Powys, on Thursday evening, November 16.
The case was adjourned, and the girl, who was remanded in custody, is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on December 18.
