The landslide at Martonbeech is of no surprise to my wife or I.
Until July of this year we lived at The Beeches.
Over 12 months ago we raised concerns about the safety of this road with Shropshire County Council and more specifically the height of the embankments.

Our concerns were put in writing.
Shropshire County Council were less than interested. Nobody visited the site and on their website they had the cheek to note that our concerns had been “fixed”.
But what can you expect for £2,600 a year in Council Tax?
