Trains have been hit on the Cambrian line this evening after a police incident over the border.
The 16.07 service on the Cambrian Line from Birmingham to Aberystwyth was left unavailable due to a "police incident" taking place at Telford Central this afternoon.
Transport for Wales said in an update that this train would "no longer call at Welshpool, Newtown Powys, Caersws, Machynlleth, Dovey Junction, Borth, Bow Street and Aberystwyth" as it was being "delayed at Telford Central" and confirmed that this was "due to the police dealing with an incident."
Trains were still backed up at the station over an hour later and witnesses posted online that a large police presence was in the area.
Further delays have been announced however it is unclear whether there will be further cancellations.
