Petrol prices have been on the rise again putting the squeeze on people across Powys at the pumps.
The rise comes as we head into winter and energy bills begin to rise and bills stack up - making filling up the car even more of a tricky task.
To help with this, at the County Times we have put together a list for the cheapest places to fill up near all the major towns across Powys as of the beginning of this month, according to GoCompare's tracking service.
Welshpool
According to the most recent data the cheapest place to fill up near Welshpool is Texaco at Hardings Garage in Guilsfield which was 147.9p per litre.
The next best in the area is at Tesco's in Welshpool on Smithfield Road which was 152.9p per litre.

Newtown
The best place to fiull up in the Newtown area according the most rrecent data is the BP garage on Pool Road as of the beginning of November the price was 151.9p per litre.
This was equalled by Bradley's Garage on Llanidloes Road which was also available for 151.9p per litre.
Machynlleth
As is expected there wasn't any other options than the new service station however it does offer a very competitive price with the cost of filling up at the beginning of this month coming in at 149.9p per litre.
Builth Wells
Thisngs are not quite so cheap for residents in Builth Wells the cheapest option in the town is the Texaco on Station Road which cost 155.9p per litre - 6 pence more than in Machynlleth.
Brecon
The cheapest option for people in Brecon, as of the beginning of this month was at Morrisons at the Watton. Filling up here cost 152.9p per litre.
Llanidloes
For Residents in Llanidloes the cheapest option was found to be the Texaco at Bradley's Garage on Victoria Avenue. The cost of fuel here was 153.9p per litre.
