Two firework displays in Powys have been cancelled due to the expected heavy rain from Storm Ciarán.
Displays in both Meifod and in Welshpool will not go ahead as planned on Friday (November 3) and Saturday (November 4) respectively due to the "severe weather forecast this weekend preceded by two days of heavy rain".
A yellow weather warning for rain is in place from 6pm on Wednesday until late on Thursday due to the storm.
Welshpool Town Council said the football pitch at Maes-y-dre where people gather to watch the annual display was already waterlogged by Tuesday (October 31).

The cancellation of the display at the recreation ground in Welshpool was announced by the town council on social media earlier this week.
"Due to the severe weather forecast this weekend preceded by two days of heavy rain we are going to cancel the fireworks due to be held this weekend," the town council said.
"The football pitch where the crowd stand is already underwater and no doubt will be even worse by the weekend.
"We are hoping to hold fireworks later in the month and will let everyone know the new date."
The fireworks display and bonfire in Meifod which was set to be held at COBRA rugby club has also been cancelled.
In a statement, the rugby club said: "Due to the weather forecast Friday, we have had to cancel. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
