A POWYS man is headed to trial in the new year over an allegation of drug driving.
Craig Wagstaffe, 46, of Gilfach Cottages, Llandinam, denies having more than the legal amount of cannabis in his system in Newtown in April.
It is alleged he had 3.1 micrograms of the Class C drug in his system when he was driving on Pool Road in Newtown on April 28 this year – the legal limit is 2 micrograms.
Magistrates sitting in Welshpool on Tuesday (October 31) adjourned the case for a trial, which is set to take place at the same court on January 8 next year.
