An award-winning florist who swapped a career in finance for her dream job creating beautiful bouquets is hoping to be crowned the UK's number one at a prestigious ceremony.
Emma Jane Floral Design is one of the finalists for UK Florist of the Year at the Nation's Wedding Awards 2023.
Emma Edwards and her Forden-based team will find out if they will be crowned winners and take the trophy home at the elegant ceremony in Manchester on November 1.
“I am absolutely delighted that Emma Jane Floral Design has been shortlisted as UK Florist of the Year at the Nation’s Wedding Awards," Emma said.
"It is a true honour to be recognised alongside some truly outstanding florists, just five years after starting my own business. We are so excited to attend the awards ceremony.”
Emma, who feels "so lucky every day to do my job", scooped the Florist of the Year award at the Welsh Wedding Awards earlier this year.
Next month in Manchester, top celebrants, hairstylists, florists and photographers amongst others will gather to celebrate their achievements and their efforts that put in daily to leave their customers with the best of impressions.
The black-tie ceremony promises to be one of the most memorable celebrations in the industry’s calendar this year, with many accolades ready to be presented to the deserving winners who the wedding industry already consider to be best of the best in their local area.
