A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man who failed to show at court charged with stealing clothes from the Poundland store in Welshpool.
Robert Watton, aged 41, was due at Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday (October 10) charged with the theft of clothes worth £37 from the Berriew Street shop.
When Watton, of Lansdowne Road, Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, failed to show, magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.
The incident that the charge relates is alleged to have happened on March 25 this year.
