Transport For Wales have confirmed a section of the Cambrian line will be closed for nearly two weeks.
They have confirmed that trains between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth will be cancelled at the end of this month.
Transport for Wales confirmed that services would not be available between Saturday October 21 up until Friday November 3.

The line will be closed all day between these dates and passengers instead will have to use a bus replacement system.
Transpot for Wales have said that the closure is due to "engineering work taking place between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth, closing some lines."
They are recommendig that passnegers check before they travel and "that, on occasion, replacement vehicles may be busier than usual, and you should allow extra time for your journey."
Transport for Wales are also to check their website "for helpful advice if you need to travel on a rail replacement service, including accessibility and bicycle information."
