Tributes have been paid to a teenage motorcyclist who died in a crash near the Powys-Shropshire border over the weekend.
On Sunday, October 1, a 17-year-old died following a collision that happened just after midnight on the A458 between Rowton junction and Cardeston Park while travelling back from Newtown.
West Mercia Police confirmed that the collision involved a grey Range Rover and a group of motorbikes.
Now a fundraising page has been set up identifying the teen as Ben Worrall, who was described as a "happy-go-lucky friend".
They said: “The collision happened on October 1, just after midnight when a grey Range Rover collided with a group of motorbikes.
“One motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries and sadly another, a 17-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed."

Following the tragedy, Ben’s friends have paid tribute to the teen who died in the fatal crash on the Powys border road, and set up a GoFundMe page to help his family with funeral expenses.
The page states: “Our happy go loving friend Ben was tragically taken from us in a motorbike collision. We had spent the evening having food, banter and catching up, before making our way home from Newtown.
“We have set up this go fund me to try and help with some of the financial burden for Vikki and Mark, Ben's parents.
“No parents should have to deal with this, so anything we can do to make the journey that little more bearable will be much appreciated.”
