A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Powys over the weekend.
The road traffic collision, involving a white Triumph motorcycle and a grey Volkswagen Golf car, occurred on the A44 near Nantmel just after 4pm on Saturday, September 23. The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital.
“Police attended a two vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the A44 near Nantmel just before 4pm on Saturday 23rd September,” said Dyfed Powys Police in a statement.
“The two vehicles involved were a white Triumph motorcycle and a grey Volkswagen Golf car.

"The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital.
“The road was closed with diversions in place and reopened at 10.25pm following recovery of the vehicles.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called on Saturday (September 23), at approximately 3.58pm, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and car near Nantmel.
“We sent one air ambulance, one emergency ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and one duty operational manager to the scene where we were assisted by colleagues from the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service who travelled by air.
“We conveyed one patient by air to University Hospital Of Wales, Cardiff, for further treatment."
