A Powys road has reopened after it was partially blocked by a fallen tree this morning (Tuesday, September 19).

The incident on the A470 happened between Llangurig and Rhayader at around 7.45am.

Traffic Wales North & Mid had warned motorists to pass with care.

They provided an update shortly before 11am to say the road had now reopened.

Parts of Wales are subject to a yellow weather warning for rain today, while the Met Office has predicted 'strong, gusty winds'.
