Woman dies walking dogs through field of cows on public footpath
A woman has died after walking her dogs through a field of cows, police have confirmed.
The incident happened in the Maesmawr area, near Guilsfield on the evening of Friday, September 1.
The woman is understood to have been walking her dogs along a public access path through farmland containing around 40 cows.
Dyfed-Powys Police said the woman's family has been notified, as well as the coroner and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
A HSE spokesperson added: “We are aware of this incident and making enquiries.”
