A ROAD traffic collision has closed a major road through Powys.
The A470 between Builth Wells and Erwood has been closed this morning (August 26). The accident is believed to have occurred around 8am.
Traffic Wales tweeted around 10.30am: “A470 closed between Erwood and Builth Wells.
“Local diversions in place, emergency services attending.”
Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed the incident, saying: "Please avoid the area and find an alternative route."
