A new bike repair shop is set to open in Machynlleth, in association with the town’s Community Bike Workshop.
Cycle Dyfi’s Shop is aiming to open in Machynlleth town centre on September 1.
The shop has been put together in association with the Community Bike Workshop, which runs from the Owain Glyndwr Centre every Wednesday.
The shop hopes to be a permanent base for the community group, which currently offers a space for people to fix their own bikes with an array of spare parts and tools on offer during their drop-in sessions, as well as a mix of people willing to share skills and advice on how to carry out bike repairs.
The group also receives donated bikes which they aim to put in working condition and give for a suggested donation.
At their new residence, the shop aims to offer refurbished bikes, conversions from manual to electric, advice on maintenance, tools library, biking accessories and more.
