A POWYS town’s post office is being relocated – which will mean an additional 24 hours of service per week.
Talgarth Post Office is moving to a new location in the town, which will mean extended opening hours, while there will also be a dedicated car park for customers.
The post office will remain at the Co-operative Food store, but the store is moving from its current location of The Square, to Hay Road.
“We are looking to re-locate the post office, currently based at The Square, to the new location, which will have a dedicated customer car park,” said a spokesperson for Post Office Ltd.

“The community will benefit as the new branch will be open daily and with extended hours.
“The new opening hours would be Monday to Sunday: 8am-6pm.
“This would provide 70 hours of post office service a week. This would be an extra 24 hours of service a week including all day Sunday, Saturday afternoon, earlier opening and later closing every day.”
The opportunity to give feedback will close on September 15. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 377632.
