A man will be sentenced by a judge next month after admitting that he threatened to kill a woman in front of two police officers.
Gregor Bustin, aged 29, changed his plea to guilty to five offences including stalking, fraud and common assault in Newtown when he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday (July 26).
Bustin, of no fixed abode but on remand in custody at HMP Berwyn, must return to court for sentencing on August 21. A trial was fixed for October 25 before he changed his pleas.
He has admitted stalking a woman with fear of violence over a four-day period between May 4 and 7 in Newtown where he attended her home, physically restrained her in the street, and threatened her and her family with violence.
He also admits making threats to kill the woman in front of two police officers in Shrewsbury on May 6, and assaulting her by beating in Newtown on two occasions on May 5 and 6.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of fraud where he is accused of dishonestly making gain for himself by using the woman’s bank card without her permission on May 6.
