One man was airlifted to hospital after his car crashed into house in Powys.
Dyfed-Powys Police were called out to an accident yesterday evening (July 19) which led the A44 to be closed for several hours.
According to Dyfed-Powys Police the accident involved a Ford Ranger crashing into a house on the A44 in-between Llangurig and Pantmawr – leading to the driver suffering serious injuries.
The Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle had to be airlifted to hospital but were unable to release more details on his condition at this time.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended a collision on the A44 near Llangurig, where a Ford Ranger had crashed into a house, at 5.25pm yesterday (Wednesday).
“One man, who was driving the vehicle, was airlifted to hospital.
“The road was cleared at 9.20pm.”
A spokesperson for the Wales Air Ambulance said: “I can confirm that The Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in the Llangurig area on Wednesday evening (July 19).
"A critical care team arrived on scene at 17:59 and our involvement concluded at 20:32.”
