The Royal Welsh Show has said its new Welsh Food Village at this year’s show will be a "fabulous feast of fun and food".
The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society have unveiled a new food village called Gwledd, the Welsh word for Feast, will “showcase the very best of Welsh produce”.
The have said that the area has been designed to be a “relaxed, family-friendly environment with seating for over 500 people and a full programme of entertainment on a live music stage”.
A spokesperson for the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society said: “Visitors to the Royal Welsh Show often say that food is one of the main reasons why they attend and this year the Society is keen to elevate the food experience by offering a greater range of Welsh food options and more places to sit and enjoy their food and drink whilst attending our events.
“That is why the Society is launching the new food village as a pilot project during this year’s Royal Welsh Show.”

Gwledd will be situated near Entrance B and will be open for the duration of the four days and it is hoped it will build on the success of the popular Food Hall.
A wide range of companies will take part in the food showcase, creating a real microcosm of the Welsh food and drink industry from savoury delights to sweet treats.
There will be 14 different vendors at the village including Brecon Brewing Ltd, street food business Cegin Manuka, the award-winning charcuterie and smokehouse Cwm Farm and The Artisan Cook a stone baked pizza to order, voted best in Wales in Wales Online competition.
Within Gwledd they will be working with the charity, Big Bocs Bwyd (Big Food Box) which operates ‘pay as you feel’ food banks from containers situated outside schools.
Containers and children from six primary schools will be at the Show to promote their actions, and how they are working to address food inequality and poor diet.
Along with the food outlets, the food village will also feature some highly acclaimed Welsh musicians, such as Bronwen Lewis, the Welsh Whisperer and folk trio, Sorela.
