A number of ambulances were called after an accident on the A44 in Powys earlier today.
Dyfed-Powys Police and crews from the Welsh Ambulance Service were called out this afternoon (July 17) after an accident on the A44 caused the road to be closed.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed that the accident took place in the Pantmawr area near Llanidloes.
The service also confirmed that the incident was a “one-vehicle road traffic accident” and did not involve another vehicle.

Dyfed-Powys Police were called out to the scene at 1.40pm and the road was close for around two hours until it was cleared just before 3.45pm.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Officers are at the scene of a single vehicle collision on the A44 Eisteddfa to Llangurig following a report at 1.40pm.
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed that multiple crews were called out to the scene but were unable to give an update on the condition of those involved at this time.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.25pm to reports of a one-vehicle road traffic accident in the Pantmawr area of Llanidloes.
“We sent a rapid response car and three emergency ambulances to the scene.”
