A Powys man has been jailed for 10 months for assaulting six police officers in one day.
Darrell Slinger, aged 21, of no fixed abode in Brecon, admitted assaulting Sergeant Bassett, Acting Superintendent Pitt, PC Manuel, Sergeant Thomas, PC Jordan Roberts and Detective Constable Page by beating.
The assaults took place during an incident at Brecon Police Station on June 21.
Recorder Bull KC sentenced the 21-year-old to 10 months imprisonment when he appeared before Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on Friday (July 14).
Slinger pleaded guilty to the offences at an earlier hearing on June 23 at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court which took place two days after the assaults happened.
