A man who was found lying in his ex-partner’s bed after she returned home from holiday died from natural causes, an inquest has heard.
Wayne Gary Styles did not live at the house in Newtown and was only there to feed his ex-partner’s cat while she was away.
A hearing into the inquest opening last year heard that property was secure and police were satisfied that there were no suspicious circumstances about Mr Styles’ death.

The 48-year-old, who had a history of alcoholism, died on July 9, 2022, as a result of cardiomegaly – an enlarged heart – and a fatty liver disease caused by his long-term alcohol use.
Coroner Patricia Morgan concluded that Mr Styles died from natural causes during an inquest at Pontypridd Coroner’s Court on July 4.
