A star-studded charity rugby match with British and Irish legends Mike Phillips, Adam Jones and Richard Hibbard will be part of the “biggest ever” Heart of Wales 7s tournament when it returns to Llanidloes this weekend.
Three of the biggest names in Welsh rugby will be joined by former Ospreys coach and television pundit Sean Holley who will be coaching the Mike Phillips Barbarians when they take on The Flaming Unicorns in aid of the Tough Enough To Care charity to help men who are struggling with their mental health.
Organisers say Cae Hafren, on the outskirts of Llanidloes, will be “absolutely bouncing” with more than 4,000 people expected to attend over the weekend for “Wales' largest sport and music festival” which includes rugby, netball, hockey, tug-of-war and boxing with headliners N-Trance and music tributes Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars and Robbie Williams entertaining the crowds.

Jordan Davies, organiser, said the Heart of Wales 7s team can't wait to welcome everyone back to Llanidloes.
"We've been going absolutely nuts getting everything in place for what is definitely going to be our biggest year ever,” he said. “We're expecting some bumper crowds all round. I'm sure the arena here will be absolutely bouncing.”
Mike Phillips told fans that he’s “really looking forward to putting the boots on one more time” for the charity rugby match which kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday (June 30).
“It's going to be my team versus the Flaming Unicorns which the Tough Enough to Care charity has put together. They're going to have the likes of Adam Jones and Richard Hibbard, and on my team, we're going to have me so that's all we need. It's going to be a lot of fun.”
While Sean Holley said he’s excited to return to Llanidloes donning his coaching hat.
“It was such a brilliant weekend so I'm looking forward to getting back up there again,” Sean said.
“We've got a big game against the Flaming Unicorns all in aid of Tough Enough to Care - a brilliant charity.
“We'll be locking horns against some former players and joining in the fun with some of my players that I coached at the Ospreys.”
Sport and music festival day passes costing £15, and weekend passes at £45 each are available to buy online at heartofwales.co.uk.
