Police have said investigations are continuing into the death of woman in Llanidloes last month.

Natalie Dean, 34 and from the Ford area in Shropshire, was found dead in the River Severn near Llanidloes at the end of last month.

Dyfed-Powys Police opened a murder investigation following the discovery of Natalie's body at 4pm on Sunday, May 28.

A 46 year old man was later arrested but has since been released on bail and Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed earlier today that "enquiries are ongoing".

The crime and subsequent investigation left many in the community shocked, with one person calling it "awful news - it’s horrible.”

Investigating officers are keen to speak to anyone who might have seen, or has dashcam footage of, a man and a woman in Llanidloes, or on the A470 between Llanidloes and Dolwen, on May 27 or 28.
