A LLANDRINDOD Wells teenager has received a community order after he stole a car while over the drink-drive limit and crashed into a gate.
Taylor Jonathan Bradley, of Llwynbrain Villas in Howey, also had cocaine in his possession when he was arrested.
He had no licence or insurance in place to drive the Mercedes Benz that he stole from Builth Wells on November 16, last year.
Llandrindod Wells Magistrates' Court was told on Wednesday (June 21) that the 19-year-old had 119 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80mcg.

He also had 1.1 grams of cocaine in his possession when he was arrested and had caused minor damage to the vehicle when it crashed into a gate.
Bradley pleaded guilty to all five charges.
For the theft charge, magistrates made Bradley the subject of a 12-month community order with an alcohol abstinence and rehabilitation requirement. He must also carry out 180 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was also banned from driving for 12 months and must pay £250 compensation, plus a victim surcharge of £114 and court costs of £85.
Bradley was banned from driving for 16 months to run concurrently for the drink-driving charge, but this can be reduced by 10 per cent if he successfully completes an awareness course.
He didn't receive a separate penalty for the other offences.
Magistrates also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine.
