A POWYS man has been banned from driving for repeat offending.
Jamie Lee Thomas Jones drove a Ford Focus on Chestnut View in Kerry, Newtown, on February 6, this year, without any insurance.
The case against him was proved via the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on May 2.
Sentencing the 32-year-old, of Lon Pantyllyn, Newtown, on May 30, magistrates said he would be disqualified from driving for six months and that the ban was obligatory due to his repeat offending.
They also fined Jones £660, ordered he pay £264 to the victim services fund, plus court costs of £90, making a total of £1,014.
