A man must remain in prison while he waits for his trial to start later this year over allegations that he made a threat to kill a woman in front of two police officers.
Gregor Bustin, aged 29, pleaded not guilty to five offences when he appeared at Mold Crown Court through a video link from HMP Berwyn, near Wrexham on Friday, June 9.
Bustin is accused of stalking a woman with fear of violence over a four-day period between May 4 and 7 in Newtown where he allegedly attended her home, physically restrained her in the street and threatened her and her family with violence.
He also denies making threats to kill the woman in front of two police officers in Shrewsbury on May 6, and assaulting her by beating in Newtown on two occasion on May 5 and 6.
The 29-year-old pleaded not guilty to a charge of fraud where he is accused of dishonestly making gain for himself by using the woman’s bank card without her permission on May 6.
Bustin, of no fixed abode, was told by His Honour Judge Timothy Petts that he must remain in prison until his trial, which was fixed for three days, starting on October 25.
