Dyfed Powys Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was reportedly thrown into a window in an Aberystwyth chip shop.
On Friday, May 5, officers were called to an incident at G-One Chip Shop, North Parade, at around 5.30pm.
The man sustained significant facial injuries and cuts and bruises to his body as a result of the alleged attack.
There were several eyewitnesses to the incident, but officers are now appealing to anyone who did not come forward at the time as the investigation is ongoing.
A 53-year-old man is currently on police bail following his arrest on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
The shop window was also damaged during the incident.
