A main road in Newtown was closed last night (Thursday, June 1) following a house fire.
Emergency services were called to Trehafren at around 8pm.

Dyfed Powys Police confirmed the road closure and asked people to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
It is understood the road remains closed this morning.
