Trains running between Newtown and Welshpool are currently experiencing delays that are expected to last "for the rest of the day".
A spokesperson for Transport for Wales said "Due to a fault with the signalling system between Welshpool and Newtown Powys trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines."
They warned that train services running through Welshpool and Newtown may be delayed and that disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Transport for Wales adde that if one of their trains runs late or is cancelled for any reason, and because of that "you get to your destination station 15 minutes or more later than scheduled" you may be entitled to claim Delay Repay compensation.
