A NEWTOWN man will be sentenced next week after admitting burglary.
Michael Gary Simmons, 33, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft on April 21. It followed a burglary at about 3.30am on April 16.
Simmons, of Dinas, Newtown, was due to be sentenced today at Mold Crown Court but was unrepresented, so Judge Nicola Saffman adjourned sentencing until next week.
Simmons has been on remand at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham since his arrest and he will remain in prison until he is sentenced.
He is due to appear before Judge Saffman at Caernarfon Crown Court on Tuesday, May 23.
