A WELSHPOOL pub that has been closed for seven years is re-opening with a new name and under new ownership.
The former Crown/Bistro 7 pub in Welshpool, located on Hall Street had been sitting empty for since May 2016.
But the pub is now re-opening having undergone an extensive refurbishment.

Now called ‘The Owl and the Pussycat’, the new establishment is offering beers, cocktails, spirits and wines to customers, as well as some outdoor seating that fits with its summer opening.
A Facebook post said: “We are finally opening Owl and Pussycat in Welshpool and welcome you into our new pub.
“Watch this space for updates on our opening offers, information on any upcoming events or nights we put on, and changes to drinks menus.”
