PART of a busy section of a main road through Powys is now back open folliwing an accident earlier today.
Motorists had been asked to avoid a section of the busy main A470 road between Erwood and Builth Wells following the accident.
Dyfed Powys Police said the A470 junction to Erwood Bridge, as well as the bridge itself, had been closed following the collision.
“The A470 junction to Erwood Bridge and the bridge itself on the B4594 is currently closed due to a collision,” the force said in a tweet, just after 1pm.
“Please avoid the area for the time being and find an alternative route. Thank you.”
At 1.47pm, Traffic Wales tweeted: "Incident is now clear. Thank you for your patience."
