A 61-year-old Powys man is to face trial later this year after denying assault.
David Robert Statham appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 10, where he denied a charge of assaulting Ernest Leslie Wilson on April 18.
Statham, of Llwyn Caedu, Llanbister Road, near Llandrindod Wells, was said to have another case listed for trial on May 31. His case was adjourned for two weeks to decide whether to pair the two cases together.
His case will be before magistrates again on May 24, although Statham’s attendance is excused.
