A MID Wales arts venue is encouraging local businesses to come on board and earn publicity while sponsoring events.
The new Wyeside Arts Centre scheme is aimed at preserving the independently run charity’s status as one of Powys’ premier arts and entertainment centres for future generations, as well as helping businesses in the Builth Wells and surrounding area to promote themselves.
Sponsors would gain ongoing advertisement in print, as part of Wyeside’s quarterly brochure, featuring prominently on the back, as well as in any other leaflets issued.
It is offering to put sponsors' logos on every page of its website alsongside prominent organisations like the Arts Council of Wales, Powys County Council and The National Lottery.
In addition, all ongoing sponsorship levels include a plaque in the Wyeside auditorium.
“Not only would your sponsorship help ensure Wyeside is here for generations to come, but you'd also get the benefit of being advertised to our vast audience,” said Wyeside in the sponsorship brochure.
“Our mission is for Wyeside Arts Centre to be at the heart of our community. We aim to reach out to all, in mid-Powys and beyond, to present the best in live, film and community arts to entertain, educate and excite, at our unique and welcoming venue."
The added: “Our plaques and boards are seen by thousands of people every year. Our new website has had over 72,000 visits since we reopened August 2021 as of August 2022, on average we receive over 6,000 visits a month, with this spiking during major releases.
“Our email and social media presence is vast and growing on Facebook (where) we have over 3,000 followers, on Twitter we have over 1,800 followers, Instagram we have 547 followers (our fastest growing platform) and we also have a presence on YouTube with a growing list of subscribers.
“Our email list has over 5,000 customers with over 3,000 active subscribers.”
